Eid al-Fitr Countdown: How Many Days Left?
The next date by Umm al-Qura
Eid al-Fitr is 1 Shawwal, the day after Ramadan ends. It is fixed by the end of the month: after 29 days if the crescent is seen on the evening of the 29th, otherwise after 30. The day of Eid can therefore differ by a day between countries, following each country’s official announcement.
By the Umm al-Qura calendar, Eid al-Fitr 1448 AH falls on Tuesday 9 March 2027. The month of Shawwal 1448 AH has 30 days, from 9 March 2027 to 7 April 2027.

Two consecutive dates are 354 or 355 days apart, which is why the date moves about 11 days earlier on the Gregorian calendar each year.
